硬質合金軋輥是在硬質合金刀具的基礎上發(fā)展而來的，硬質合金是采用堅硬的碳化鎢顆粒硬質相與鎳、鈷等黏結相金屬燒結而成。硬質合金的性能取決于碳化鎢顆粒尺寸的大小和黏結相金屬含量的多少，當黏結相金屬中含有一定量的鎳和鉻時，不僅會大大提高軋輥的抗熱疲勞性能。硬質合金軋輥的優(yōu)點是硬度高、耐磨性好，單槽軋鋼量可以達到高速鋼軋輥的兩倍。

Cemented carbide rolls are developed on the basis of cemented carbide tools. The properties of cemented carbide depend on the size of tungsten carbide particle and the content of bonding phase metal.
