彎曲度：工字鋼高度小于或等于400MM時，每米彎曲度不得大于1.5MM，總彎曲度不得大于總長度的0.15%。高度大于400MM時，每米彎曲度不得大于1.0MM，總彎曲度不得大于總長度的0.1%。

Bending degree: when the height of the I-steel is less than or equal to 400MM, the bending degree of each meter must not be more than 1.5MM, and the total bending degree should not be more than 0.15% of the total length. When the height is greater than 400MM, the bending degree of each meter must not be more than 1.0MM, and the total bending degree should not be more than 0.1% of the total length.

H型鋼的翼緣都是等厚度的，有軋制截面，也有由3塊板焊接組成的組合截面。工字鋼都是軋制截面，翼緣內邊有1：10坡度。

Ｈ型鋼的軋制不同于普通工字鋼僅用一套水平軋輥，由于其翼緣較寬且無斜度(或斜度很小)，故須增設一組立式軋輥同時進行輥軋。

The flange of the H steel is equal thickness, has a rolling cross section, and a  section of 3 plates. The I-steel is the rolling section, and the inner edge of the flange has the 1:10 gradient.

The rolling of H steel is different from ordinary I-beam only with a set of horizontal rolls. Because of its wide flange and no slope (or very small slope), a group of vertical rollers should be set up and rolled at the same time. 

H型鋼是一種斷面力學性能較工字鋼優良的經濟型斷面鋼材，因其斷面的形狀與英文字母“H”相同而得名。熱軋H型鋼的翼緣比工字鋼寬、側向剛度大、抗彎能力強。同等規格下H型鋼理重較工字鋼輕。

H steel is a kind of economical section steel with better section mechanical properties than that of I-steel. Because the shape of the section is the same as that of the English letter "H". The flange of hot rolled H steel is wider than that of I-steel, large lateral stiffness and strong bending resistance. Under the same specification, the weight of H steel is lighter than that of I-steel.

型材是鐵或鋼以及具有一定強度和韌性的材料通過軋制、擠出、鑄造等工藝制成的具有一定幾何形狀的物體。這類材料具有的外觀尺寸一定，斷面呈一定形狀，具有一定的力學物理性能。型材既能單獨使用也能進一步加工成其他制造品，常用于建筑結構與制造安裝。型材的材質、規格尺寸等可參照相應的國家標準。槽鋼主要用于建筑結構、車輛制造、其它工業結構和固定盤柜等，槽鋼還常常和工字鋼配合使用。軋機結構和軋機布置形式較多。在結構形式上有二輥式軋機、三輥式軋機、孔型軋機、多輥孔型軋機、Y型軋機、45°軋機和懸臂式軋機等。
