軋輥由輥身、輥頸和軸頭二部分組成。輥頸安裝在軸承中，并通過袖承座和壓下裝置把軋制力傳給機架。鉑頭和連接軸相連接，傳遞軋制扭矩。軸頭有三種主要形式；梅花軸頭、萬向軸頭、帶鍵槽的或圓柱形軸頭。

The roll is  of two parts of the roller body, the neck of the roll and the shaft head. The roll neck is installed in the bearing and passes through the sleeve bearing seat and the press down device to the rack. The platinum head is connected to the connecting shaft to transfer the rolling torque. There are three main forms of the shaft; the shaft of a plum, a universal shaft, or a cylindrical shaft with a keyway.

軋輥中大量使用合金元素是在第二次以后，這是軋鋼設(shè)備朝著大型化、連續(xù)化、高速化、自動化發(fā)展以及軋材強度提高、變形抗力加大后對軋輥性能提出更高要求的結(jié)果。

而精軋輥速度較高，軋制終產(chǎn)品要有一定的表面質(zhì)量，對它以硬度、耐磨等為主要要求。然后考慮軋輥使用時所應(yīng)有的耐磨性。由于軋輥的磨損機理很復(fù)雜，包括機械應(yīng)力作用、軋制時的熱作用、冷卻作用、潤滑介質(zhì)的化學(xué)作用以及其他作用。

And the high speed of the fine roller, the final product of rolling must have a certain surface quality, which is the main requirement for its hardness, wear resistance and so on. Then the wear resistance should be cidered when the roll is used. Because the wear mechanism of roller is very complicated, including mechanical stress, thermal action during rolling, cooling effect, chemical action of lubricating medium and other functi.

當(dāng)軋制其它型材時，可以用水平機架更換機架。水平機架的軋輥有很深的孔型，而機架沒有。  

較大直徑的水平軋輥確定型鋼的的形狀，而較小直徑的一對立輥用于軋制邊部。當(dāng)坯料穿過傳統(tǒng)機架和機架精軋軋輥時，可以獲得很好的表面光潔度和尺寸公差。  

When rolling other profiles, the universal rack can be replaced with a horizontal rack. The roll of the horizontal frame has a very deep pass, but the universal rack does not.

Horizontal rolls with larger diameters determine the shape of the section steel, and a pair of rolls with smaller diameters are used for rolling edges. Good surface finish and dimensional tolerance can be obtained when the blank passes through the conventional stand and universal stand finish rolls.
